We are a missionary community of Fatima.

Welcome to Our Lady of Fatima, home to approximately 1,300 families from Perth Amboy, New Jersey, and neighboring towns.  Our parishioners form a lively community of peoples who came from a rich variety of Spanish-speaking countries. The great majority are immigrants from the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Mexico, but there are also immigrants from Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, Argentina, Venezuela, Guatemala, El Salvador, Ecuador, and practically every country in Latin America.  Many of those who identify themselves with some of those groups, were already born in North America and speak fluent English.  So the English-speaking and Bilingual people are growing steadily.  The Motto of our Parish is “Many Cultures, Only One faith.”  From the beginning of this Parish the aim of our ministry has been to welcome any person who would like to join a community where they can share with others the richness of values and talents that all have, without losing their own culture and personal identity.  This variety of cultures is joyfully expressed through festivities where a common faith is celebrated with typical music, dressing, foods, etc.  So, if you happen to live in Perth Amboy or are visiting friends for a while, come, let us know you, and learn a little about us.
